User Stories

After clarifying user’s needs, experiences and hopes during the research process, I turned to user stories. User stories allowed me to transform those goals into specific tasks: finding ways that the design could deliver functions responsive to user desires. These provide tools for pivoting from the world of analysis to the world of what do we do. By isolating specific wants, and breaking them down into user groups, tasks, goals, affinities and release groups we secure a systematic approach to designing the app. Without clear user stories the complex interconnections between design features would quickly prove overwhelming, multiplying frustrations and opportunities for error. With clear user stories, individuated tasks and goals can be precisely addressed and synthesized into an integrated user experience.
