CASE STUDY

Design Sprint Day 4: Prototype

Reflection:

Since the inception of the idea, the direction had changed. Rather an app that would be focused on an individual user’s ability to dig through an archive of content, to a dynamically integrated content archive, where social interactions drove constant improvement of the content.

Here the user not only sees an AR display of the art, but is empowered to suggest their own knowledge among a peer community. As this community discusses the history of an artwork, and answers each other’s questions, they become the hive-expert that guides the group together.

This is a response to the brief and the original user research: users made clear that they wanted to be able to engage deeper with works with some expert guidance, but still feel empowered to explore under their own freedom.
